She doesn’t ask for much, this Girl of mine.
“What do you want to see when you get to England?” I asked.
In all the plans I made, and all the places I marked to go visit, I hadn’t quite figured out how to make sure there was snow involved, other than making sure we get as far north as we can during the coldest month of the year. I sent out a snowy request to the universe. (But not too snowy, we have places to go.)
“I’ll see what I can do.” I promised with all the hope a mom can muster to make her girl happy.
Guess what’s been happening for the last two days?
There’s one happy girl, eating snowballs just like she did when she was ten.
