An American photographer and her hot Scotsman husband traveling the world and writing about it. We are an international expat couple who love nothing more than to go somewhere we’ve never been. So far we’ve lived in four countries, which is a good start.
We generally don’t know where we’re going to be next, or what crazy plans we’ll come up with. Having an open mind, and a philosophy of “Why not?” has brought us to some pretty wonderful places, and connections with quite a lot of fantastic people. I think we’ll keep doing that.
We’ll be traveling by planes, trains and automobiles. I’m certain there will also be the occasional bicycle, hiking trek, rickshaw, elephant, horse, boat, and whatever else looks inviting enough to sit on.
Our mission is to check off everything on our bucket lists before we actually kick that bucket. Along the way we hope to see amazing sights, meet interesting people, stay in roach free lodgings and stay alive.
We’ve been traveling together for five years so far. For now we’re based Brazil for the second time, after a one year stay in the UK. We’ll be writing about our travels as we go, but also adding posts about our previous trips too. We have a lot of pins to add to that map already!

Rated the world’s number one travel site written by a Scotsman and his American wife. By me. What?
“It’s a dangerous business, going out your door. You step onto the road, and, if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no telling where you might be swept off to.” – J.R.R. Tolkien
