365 Photo Project – Week 9

We stayed close to home this week. Brian worked while I spent way too much time home on the laptop working on photos, behind the scenes blog stuff, and general internet time wasting.

Sometimes I need these days of hunkering down at home. My introvert-self needs to be quiet and get stuff done. One week seems to be plenty though, and I’m ready to get back out in the world next week.

I did manage to leave the house two or three times though, for running errands or just plain running. I am a happy graduate of the Couch to 5k program and can now jog steadily for thirty minutes straight. Go me! I’m still not fast, and it’s still not easy, but I’m doing it.

Here are my two favorite “Through” themed shots from the past week:

Through Grainger Market

Through Grainger Market

Through the Mirror

Through the Metro Station Mirror

How about you? What did you shoot this week?

Add your link below and share your best shot of the week. Make sure to link to the individual blog post, or photo page, and please leave me a comment to let me know what you’re working on. Doing a 365 daily photo project? A 52 weekly project? Following a theme? Just trying to get out there and shoot? I’d love to know what you’re all working on.

Make sure to follow the links and leave a comment on the others’ photos. We all love a bit of feedback.

Great picture of Grainger Market, well done for keeping up the jogging/running – it’s what keeps me sane!

Very urban and so totally unlike our farm but that’s what makes everyone’s photos different!

That’s one of the things I love about photography. No matter how many people are doing it, there are so many different things and places to shoot that there’s room for everyone. :)

Thanks, Jenny! Grainger Market was, at one time, the largest indoor market in all of the UK and is still one of the oldest still in use. It’s a really cool building in a great, old city.

Great photos. The market roof is beautiful. I’m a firm believer in looking up when taking photos and I love the beauty of the lines converging in the roof.

Congrats on getting through the Couch to 5k program! That’s awesome that you can run for 30 minutes straight. I never did get past a few minutes of running/walking alternating before my knees staged a protest.
