365 Photo Project – Week 10

It’s been a week of working long hours, thinking in two languages, getting up way too early and remembering what it’s like to have a regular job.

What an adjustment! Where are my lazy mornings? My slow cup of coffee at 9am? Where is my time to tidy up, do the dishes, take care of the laundry and go to the store? Sheesh.

Brian’s work has brought one of their Brazilian employees up here to England for training, and she speaks no English at all. My hot husband volunteered me to be her in-house translator for two weeks. Volunteered! (He owes me big.)

However, it’s been fun in its own way. I’ve made a new friend, learned a lot of new vocabulary, learned how to use their planning software and had a nice time being a bit more social than normal.

This doesn’t leave much time for photo taking, or exploring but I did still manage a photo a day, and here are my favorites from this week:

Gateshead Fog

Through the Fog in Team Valley, Gateshead

Through the Office – A new Co-worker

Through the Blinds – There is a lovely patio out there, but the weather is too bad to use it. Sigh.

Where have you been this week? It’s time to link up and share your best photo from the last seven days. Add the link to your blog post (not your blog’s main page), and don’t forget to link back to us so others can find us and join in. Make sure you take a minute to visit the others too!

As always, I’m linking up with The Boy and Me‘s 365 group. Click the “365” below and go see what’s happening over there!

Thanks, Gina. It’s been fun, and sometimes difficult to come up with a good creative way to shoot ‘through’.
