365 Photo Challenge – Week 6

Another week, another seven days, another 168 hours.

What did you do this week?

It’s time to link up and share your best photo of the week. Doing a daily 365 photo project? A weekly 52? Just love taking photos? Pick your very best from this week and add your link below to share what you’ve been shooting.

Here are my two favorites from my “Through” theme for this week:

Through the Cliff on the Isle of May

Through the Cliff on the Isle of May

Yesterday Brian surprised me with a boat trip out to the Isle of May, which sits at the mouth of the Firth of Forth where it meets the North Sea. To one side we could see Fife, to the other was Edinburgh, and we had miraculously smooth, calm seas. We were prepared for much worse, but I’m really glad it was so nice! I’ll be writing more about that in the next few days. I took this shot on the southwest side of the island where a 40ft high crack in the cliffs cracked is wide enough to let daylight through.

Through the Station

Through the Station

This one was from Thursday when I had to figure out how to get to our local (and massive) shopping mall by myself without a car for the first time. I pulled it off without a hitch, thanks to the Metro and bus systems being so easy to navigate here in Newcastle.

Add your link below to share the shot you’re most proud of, or tells the best story this week:

Don’t forget to visit the other links and leave a little comment love.

I hope you all had a great week, and I can’t wait to see what you share.

I’m linking up again with The Boy and Me’s 365 linky party. Take a peek over there and share your photos with her too. It’s a great group!

I love the cliff photo, that is really beautiful. Strangely I was going to take a photo of a tube train going through the station for one of my shots this week, but I couldn’t get a clean one (London at rush hour is not the best time to take one).

I can’t imagine the London Tube without dozens of people in the shot, but maybe you can incorporate them somehow? Would be fun to try, as long as you didn’t have a goblin dragging you away. ;)

Ang, you would have loved that boat trip! It was so fun, and the island is really beautiful and loaded with seals.
      Thanks for linking up!
